I was introduced to the steel pan in the year 2000 at the Clico Sforzata tuning facility where I was taught the art of constructing the steel pan (sinking, shaping, grooving etc.) by Oliver Hospedales and Vincent Pumpy.

In 2005 I received a certificate for the completion of a steel pan construction course from the ministry of Community Development Culture and Gender Affairs.

After being certified I worked for ; Pan Max Studios, Gills Pan Shop, Lincon Enterprise, Simon Music Supply, Music and Equipment and TTIL ( Trinidad and Tobago Instruments Limited). Furthermore, I worked alongside tuners like; Oliver Hospedales, Andy Neils, Eger Mayers, Ronald Matthews, Patrick Warel (Bale), Junior (Blue Boy) Peters, Terrance Shepard, George yoyo Klicharan, Leslie Bernard, Mappo, Sherwin Pierre, Wayne Paris and Tony Slater.

I also provided steel pans for steel bands like Clico Sforzata Steel Orchestra, Couva Joylanders, Curepe Scherzandos and Exodus. In 2013 I received a certificate from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) in “Advanced Steel Pan Tuning” for the completion of this course with a grade ‘A’.
